Upgrade to Pro checkout fails

Symptoms

  • "Could not start checkout" appears when you click Upgrade to Pro.
  • "Billing server unreachable" appears on a corporate or managed network.

What is happening

Roadmap Flow opens Stripe Checkout through the billing server. On some corporate or VPN-managed networks the billing server is blocked, which causes the error.

What to do

When the billing server cannot be reached, Roadmap Flow shows a second button: Open Stripe payment page.

  1. Click Upgrade to Pro anywhere in the app.
  2. Choose Annual or Monthly and click Continue to Stripe.
  3. If the "Billing server unreachable" error appears, click Open Stripe payment page.
  4. Complete payment on Stripe's page.
  5. Return to Roadmap Flow and click Refresh activation.

If the payment page did not open automatically, look for an Open it manually link in the dialog.

If Refresh activation also fails on your network, switch to a mobile hotspot or home Wi-Fi and click Refresh activation again.

Team plan: The payment page fallback is for Pro only. For Team, email support@roadmap-flow.com — we will set up your subscription manually.

Cancelled checkout

Closing or cancelling a Stripe Checkout does not charge you and does not unlock Pro. Your plan stays Free until payment is confirmed and Refresh activation succeeds.
